Serious harm, including explosions or fires, may occur if the compressor is powered while the terminal box cover is either removed or not properly secured. The terminal pins could blow out, leading to severe injuries, fatalities, or fires. Avoid contact with terminals or terminal wiring, and refrain from removing the terminal cover or any compressor part until power is disconnected and pressure is relieved. Please refer to safety instructions A, B, and C for further guidance.

• Electric shock hazard:

The removal of the terminal cover while the compressor is powered could result in severe bodily harm or even death due to electrocution. To prevent this, never supply power to the compressor unless the terminal cover is securely in place and all service valves are open.
