Performer Low Temperature Scroll Compressor for HRH051U4LP6 Refrigeration

Under special circumstances, Performer compressor will operate in low temperature environment. What are the precautions for Performer compressor in low temperature operation?

1. Be careful when the heat exchange of air-cooled condenser is maximum, and it is necessary to use the exhaust pressure controller. Low pressure ratio operation can be found by the significant increase in noise of Performer compressor. It is suggested that the unit should be tested under minimum ambient temperature and minimum load. The following considerations should be made to ensure the proper operation characteristics of the system.

2. The expansion valve should be of appropriate size to ensure the correct control of the refrigerant flow into the evaporator. Too large a valve can cause control instability. The expansion valve should have appropriate superheat setting to ensure the appropriate superheat level in low load period. At least 5K stable superheat is required. Under variable load, if the expansion valve can not provide stable superheat control, it will lead to backflow of Performer compressor.
