There is no definite answer as to how many times a scroll compressor can start and stop in an hour, because it largely depends on the system configuration. Because the scroll compressor is started under unloading conditions, even under unbalanced pressure, it is also started under unloading conditions, so there is no provision for the shortest shutdown time. The most critical consideration is the minimum operating time required for oil to return to the compressor after start-up. The simplest method is to use a prototype with glass mirror (provided by cereal wheel company) and connect the longest connecting pipe allowed by the system. The shortest operation time is the time required for oil loss to return to the compressor oil pool and restore the normal oil level in the sight glass when the compressor is started. If the compressor is cycled and stopped at a shorter time interval than this time, for example, in order to maintain a very accurate temperature control, the lubricating oil will be gradually lost and the compressor will be damaged.
