What Factors Will Affect the Working Efficiency of the Flake Ice Machine?

Apr 06, 2023

The working efficiency of industrial flake ice machine may be affected by the following factors:

1. Air temperature: When the outdoor temperature rises, the condenser takes a long time to discharge the heat, which will lead to a decrease in the working efficiency of the machine.

2. Oil temperature: When the lubricating oil temperature rises, the viscosity will decrease, thereby easing the lubrication of the bearings, which may also lead to a decrease in the working efficiency of the machine.

3. Ambient humidity: High humidity will cause water droplets to accumulate on the surface of the condenser of the machine, reducing the efficiency of the condenser.

4. Maintenance: If the energy-consuming parts of the machine, such as the condenser, evaporator, and ice-making room, are not cleaned thoroughly or are blocked, the working efficiency of the machine will be greatly reduced.

5. Model and ice production capacity: The corresponding working efficiency of ice machines of different models or different ice production capacity will be different.

We know that there is a large gap between the ice production capacity of the flake ice machine in summer and winter and the ice production marked on the flake ice machine. Let’s use a flake ice machine tested by our factory as an example:

When the water temperature is 15°C and the working temperature is 21°C, the flake ice machine can produce ice 120 times every 24 hours.

When the water temperature is 30°C and the working temperature is 40°C, the flake ice machine can only produce ice 90 times per 24 hours.
