Engineered for large-scale central water chillers, air-cooled liquid chillers, and commercial HVAC systems, the RC2-470B-W hvac screw compressor delivers a high volumetric displacement of 471m³/hr at 50Hz with 141HP output. Built around a patented 5:6 asymmetric lobe rotor profile produced on high-precision CNC machining centers, it eliminates reciprocating components like pistons, valve plates, and oil pumps. This continuous rotary compression structure delivers high volumetric efficiency, exceptionally low sound emissions, and minimal vibration across extended cooling cycles.

To optimize part-load seasonal efficiency and lower overall power consumption in fluctuating climate conditions, the compressor features dual-mode capacity regulation through flanged solenoid valves. Operators can select 4-step capacity control or continuous stepless control for rapid matching of target chilled water temperatures. With five selectable Volume Index ratios and an integrated economizer sub-cooling port, energy loss from over- or under-compression is prevented.

The structural housing is constructed from high-strength FC25 gray cast iron with internal rib reinforcement to eliminate casing expansion under high pressure. Mechanical reliability is enhanced by a 10-bearing combination of radial and angular-contact axial ball bearings paired with an α axial balance piston to counteract thrust forces and resist reverse rotation. Complete oil management is handled via an 18-liter lubricant sump and a direct flange-on FC500 ductile iron separator with a fine demister mesh.
