Digital scroll compressor uses "axial flexibility" technology, "axial flexibility" allows the scroll can move a very small distance in the axial direction, to ensure that the scroll always works with the best force. The two scroll plates are closely combined in any operation environment to ensure high energy efficiency ratio of scroll compressor.

The control cycle of digital scroll compressor includes a period of "load period" and a period of "unloading period". During the load period, the compressor works like a conventional scroll compressor and transmits the full capacity. The output of the compressor is 100%. During unloading, due to the flexible design of the compressor, there is a slight separation between the two scroll plates in the axial direction, and there is no more refrigerant passing through the compressor, and the output of the compressor is 0.

The "cycle time" of a digital scroll compressor includes "load state" time and "unloading state" time. The different combination of these two times determines the capacity regulation of the compressor. By changing these two times, the output capacity of the compressor can be adjusted (10% - 100%).
