Air compressor electrical system

1. According to the size of the power of the air compressor, correctly select the diameter of the power supply wire. Do not use a wire diameter that is too small, otherwise the power supply wire is easily burned due to high temperature and causes danger.

2. It is best to use a power system for the air compressor alone, especially to avoid using it in parallel with other different power consumption. If used in parallel, the compressor may be overloaded due to excessive voltage drop or three-way current imbalance, causing the protection device to trip and affect other electrical equipment. Especially pay attention to high-power compressors.

3. The running current of the motor shall not exceed 15% of the rated current; if the three-phase current is unbalanced, the difference between the lowest one-phase current and the highest one-phase current shall not exceed 5%; if the power supply has a voltage drop, the voltage drop shall not be low 5% of rated voltage.

4. Make sure that the power supply voltage matches the rated voltage of the motor during power distribution.

5. The ground wire of the motor or system must be erected to prevent danger caused by electric leakage. Note: The ground wire cannot be directly connected to the air delivery pipe or cooling water pipe.

6. Select and configure the appropriate air switch according to the power number of the air compressor to maintain the electrical switch in the system and ensure safety.
