How to Regulate the Installation of Evaporators in Cold Storage?
May 04, 2023
The evaporator of the cold storage is one of the most important components in the cold storage. It is responsible for transferring the low-temperature and low-pressure steam of the refrigerant to the air in the warehouse to cool it down.
The following are the steps for standard installation of cold storage evaporators:
1. Determine the location of the evaporator: The evaporator should be installed in a suitable location in the cold storage to ensure that the air can circulate evenly throughout the warehouse and to avoid the formation of condensation in the cold storage.
2. Mounting bracket: choose the appropriate bracket and installation method according to the size and weight of the evaporator. The stand must be strong and stable to ensure that the evaporator does not move or tilt during use.
3. Install the inlet and outlet pipes: connect the inlet and outlet pipes to the evaporator, make sure that the pipes are tightly connected and there is no air leakage.
4. Install the electrical control system: According to the electrical requirements of the evaporator, install the electrical control system, such as junction boxes, sensors, etc.
5. Testing and commissioning: Before starting the evaporator, testing and commissioning are required to ensure that the system is functioning properly. This includes checking for proper refrigerant flow, temperature differential, pressure and electrical connections.
6. Cleaning and maintenance: The evaporator needs to be cleaned and maintained regularly to ensure its normal operation and prolong its service life. This includes cleaning and replacing filters, checking and replacing valves, sensors, etc.
Finally, in order to ensure the normal operation of the evaporator and prolong its service life, it is recommended to install and maintain it in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions and relevant standards.

Cold storage evaporator installation instructions:
1. Installation content: first open the hoisting screw holes, and open the copper pipe and wire holes. The last two holes should be trimmed to prevent hidden dangers from the fast opening. The drain hole of the evaporator is perpendicular to the drain hole pre-installed on the vertical plate, and the height difference between the two is 250MM. If it is a freezer, the drain pipe is equipped with a drain heating wire, and the heating part of the drain heating wire can only extend to 50MM inside the storage plate. The outside of the drain pipe is insulated, and no electric heating wire is needed for refrigeration, and the others are the same.
2. Hoisting attention: the air inlet of the evaporator should not face the door of the cold storage, the evaporator should be hung at the long end of the cold storage, and the air outlet of the evaporator should not face the door (the evaporator should be in the middle for easy maintenance).
